Old town- Sibiu

I visited Sibiu last year on 1 May and it was a pleasure to see the town for the first time in my life. :)

Sibiu or Hermannstadt (in German) was the European Capital of Culture in 2007.

This is the old part of the city with narrow streets and brick walls.

There's a huge place where are represented houses from countryside from each part of Romania. In the previous posting you could see such houses.

I have to say that this is one of my favorites places from Romania.

There's one museum like that in Bucharest too, called The Village Museum (Muzeul Satului).
